Need digtal camera suggestions. Read details, please!?

I have a Sony Cybershot DSC-W80 (7.2 mega pixels/ 3x zoom).

I am looking for a new ultracompact camera. I want at least 4x zoom. And most importantly, I want it to have a good shutter speed. The lag on my sony cybershot is so irritating, like when I want to take a picture of my cat or dog, they move before the camera can manage to take the picture. It takes like 3-5 seconds after hitting the capture button to take a darn picture. lol

So, those three things are important: speed, at least 4x zoom, ultracompact.

Any suggestions?
