Recommendations for a "bridge/ extended zoom" digital camera?

I’m looking to buy a new digital camera. Something a little nicer than a traditional point and shoot but not quite an SLR. I was looking at 1. Nikon Coolpix L110 2.Canon Powershot Sx120 3. Canon Powershot G11 4. Panasonic DMC-FZ28 — or any other suggestions. Picture quality is one of the most important factors to me. I am looking to spend around 0-400. Does anyone have any opinions on these? Thanks!!

    i have the Canon PowerShot A650IS 12.1MP Digital Camera with 6x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom — and its going to be the first time im bringin it to a concert…do you think ill get good pictures if im sitting further away from the stage.

    4.0X digital zoom
    and
    6.0 optical zoom

    also…what do the terms mean above?

    • What makes a digital camera zoom really far?

    I have a Canon PowerShot A95 and it has a 12x Optical and Digital zoom combined but to me, it doesn’t zoom very far at all. What is better…..a 3x optical zoom or a 12x optical zoom?? Which will zoom farther? What are maybe some cameras that will zoom really far?
    It just says 12x Optical and Digital combined. I’m not sure if that means both are 12x or not. I just know that I’ve stood next to people at concerts over 150 feet from the stage. They have these little slim Kodak pocket cameras it seems and they are able to zoom all the way up on stage and get close up shots. My PowerShot will only zoom halfway to the stage and probably costs twice as much. idk, it’s just frusturating.
